Yuaia Haircare is an emerging Danish e-commerce whose vision is to help the average Dane get healthier and stronger hair.
Yuaia Haircare underwent extensive rebranding in 2020 and has since experienced tremendous growth. Growbix has been responsible for Yuaia Haircare's overall marketing mix, but most importantly, Growbix has been responsible for Yuaia Haircare's website and conversion optimization.
After Yuaia Haircare's rebranding, they were equipped for growth. In this context, they needed an experienced e-commerce partner to keep their conversion rate in line with the increased traffic and thus create more profitable revenue. In addition, Yuaia Haircare wanted to increase their average order value. With Growbix's experience in e-commerce and expert certification in Shopify, Growbix was the right fit for the job.
Growbix works with conversion optimization at Yuaia Haircare in an ongoing process to quickly capitalize on learnings based on the ongoing increasing traffic. Essentially, it's about designing the best possible user experience for Yuaia Haircare to ensure that as many of the visitors landing on the site become customers as possible.
In order to increase the conversion rate on the PURCHASE goal at Yuaia Haircare, Growbix systematically worked with 4 phases:
When working to increase conversion rates, the first step is to find out where visitors drop off and why visitors drop off in the process.
To identify where visitors drop off, quantitative data and statistics are analyzed via Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics, where we look at drop-off in the conversion funnel and which specific pages people drop off on.
Based on the quantitative analysis, we dive deeper into the data in a qualitative analysis to find out why visitors drop off on the specific landing pages at Yuaia Haircare. We did this by using Hotjar, where we could visualize the visitors' behavior on the specific pages through heatmaps and recordings of specific sessions, which can provide insights into the basis of drop-off.
Based on the above, we can develop hypotheses as to why people drop off on specific landing pages and do not perform the desired conversion.
Based on the hypotheses in the analysis, Growbix designs and develops different solutions that should solve the hypothesis as to why the visitor drops off.
The different solutions designed for Yuaia Haircare are then tested in an A/B test to assess whether the solutions actually reduce drop-off and thus increase the conversion rate. The test works in such a way that the different solutions are tested simultaneously for a period of 14-21 days, where a percentage of the visitors are shown one solution and a percentage are shown the other solution. The winner of the test is chosen based on the metric we want to improve. In Yuaia Haircare's case, it was the conversion rate to purchase.
The various solutions designed for Yuaia Haircare are then tested in an A/B test to assess whether the solutions actually reduce dropoff and thereby increase the conversion rate. The test works by simultaneously testing the different solutions for a period of 14-21 days, where a percentage of visitors are shown one solution and a percentage are shown the other solution. The winner of the test is chosen based on the metric we want to improve. In Yuaia Haircare's case, it was the conversion rate to purchase. As a professional digital e-commerce agency, we would conduct such A/B tests to optimize the website and increase the likelihood of visitors making a purchase.
Based on the test in the previous phase, we will be able to draw conclusions based on the set test. The winning version is subsequently implemented on the website with the aim of increasing the conversion rate.
